Artificial Intelligence is opening powerful new doors for family history researchers — and learning to write effective prompts is the key to unlocking them. The goal of our AI Learning and Special Interest Group is simple:  To help Jewish Genealogists learn how to use AI tools effectively and obtain useful, reliable results.  AI can be surprisingly powerful when used thoughtfully–and confusing and frustrating when it’s not.  Our aim is to make it understandable, practical and genuinely helpful.    

This new LSIG is a collaborative learning community where we will:

  • Share real-world experiences using AI in our genealogy research

  • Explore available AI tools and training resources

  • Learn practical techniques we can apply immediately

  • Encourage and challenge one another to build confidence and expertise
