His winning essay centered on his great-great grandmother Yetta, who left Europe knowing that she would never see her parents again. In his essay, he cited novelist Alex Haley who wrote “The family is the link to our past and a bridge to our future.” Kronen will be attending the University of Central Florida.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]
